About

I grew up on a farm in rural Montana, where my summers were spent putting up barbed wire fence, cleaning grain bins, and tending to livestock. Thousands of acres and a lack of technology gave me ample opportunity to wander and to wonder about the world around me. This natural curiosity and a desire to be challenged eventually drove me toward data science.

I’m obsessed with music: playing, listening to, and sharing it. My favorite artists are Stevie Wonder and James Blake, my favorite instrument to play is piano, and my go-to karaoke song is “What’s Up” by 4 Non Blondes. (That last one changes all the time.)
